euroPLX 75 Lisbon - Registration Fee and Conditions

The Registration Fee and Conditions apply for all registrants and the companies represented by the registrants without exception and are acknowledged by the act of registration.

 

euoPLX Services Period

The duration of each euroPLX Services Period is defined by its online presence. Business information exchange and other services rendered by RauCon start immediately after confirmed registration.

Registration and Payment of Fee

Registration must be received by RauCon before or on February 24, 2021. Late registration (and payment) with reduced options is accepted until March 2, 2021. Along with receiving confirmation and invoice and the euroPLX 75 Action Plan, registrants will be asked to provide non-confidential partnering information (the “Collaboration Interests”) for this conference. RauCon reserves the right to close the registration period prematurely if organisational or overcapacity reasons so require.

For technical reasons relating to the partnering process registrations done through travel agents cannot be accepted.

Payment of registration (attendance) fee by bank transfer is strictly due before or by the due date stated on the invoice. Credit Card Payment has to be effected within one week. RauCon reserves the right to keep a registration pending or to deactivate a registrant's access to the partnering area as long as payment is not received.

Multiple Registrations Bonus

Additional delegates of the same company will save €200 if they opt for same appointments; they will be charged the full registration (attendance) fee if they opt for separate appointments.

 

Period and Scope of Services

The period of services which RauCon renders for a registered company starts immediately after a registrant’s access to the RauCon online system has been activated; it ends when this RauCon Period’s partnering information is taken offline. The scope of services which are covered by the registration (attendance) fee includes:

•    Pre-conference: access to the proprietary RauCon online partnering system, information exchange and match-making between participants, and generation of individual schedules for one-on-one appointments using the digital platform developed and provided by RauCon.
•    PDF materials: (1) Individual Schedule, Table Plan, Customised Conference Package (contains company information relevant for your appointments), (2) Complete Conference Package (contains all company information).
•    Conference: as outlined in the Programme and specified in Individual Schedules, including Lunch on each of the two days, the RauCon Dinner Buffet on Monday, and all-day refreshments.
•    Post-conference: Access to this RauCon Period’s partnering information for about three months; access to all downloadable partnering and conference information of previously attended RauCon Periods for as long as the user account is in operation.

In the case of meeting or travel restrictions decreed by the venue country's authorities or other cases of Force Majeure which could prevent the physical presence of some or all registrants, a remote access video format will adequately replace the physical attendance of these registrants.

 

Trainee Programme

RauCon offers the participation of Trainees in RauCon Partnering Conferences at a reduced registration (attendance) fee of €800 per Trainee.
For purposes of definition, a trainee is a person who

•    is currently being trained in BD&L
•    has never attended a RauCon Partnering Conference before
•    will be accompanied by a regular attendee of the same company who will guide the Trainee through jointly attended appointments.

A Trainee will neither receive an individual schedule nor conference documents, but will be invited to enjoy all meals and beverages just like a regular registrant. The Trainee status will be displayed on the name badge.
A company can register only one Trainee at a particular RauCon Partnering Conference.

 

Cancellation & Transfer Policy

Cancellation Policy: Registration fees are refundable in full if cancellation is received at the RauCon office in writing by January 15, 2021. Written cancellations received between January 16, 2021 and February 15, 2021, inclusive, will be subject to the payment of 50% of the registration fee. Cancellations after this date are non-refundable. Substitutions of registrants from the same company are welcomed anytime.

Frequent Attendee Cancellation Policy: Registrants who have personally attended three times or more, and at least once during the 12 months preceding the present RauCon Conference, may cancel their registration and be fully refunded if cancellation is received by February 15, 2021. Cancellations after this date are non-refundable.

Transfer-to-Next-RauCon Policy: A transfer of a registration to a next RauCon Partnering Conference is possible for a maximum of two consecutive times until March 2, 2021 and will be charged €300 in compensation for outlay and handling fees for transfers after February 15, 2021. A difference in fees resulting from bonuses applying at different times of registration is non-refundable. The transfer charges are applicable regardless of the registration fee period of the RauCon Conference to which the previous registration is transferred.

 

Right to Reject

RauCon reserves the right to reject a registration if the registrant is not a pharma or biopharma industry executive in charge with business development matters of his/her company, or a broker/consultant with a clear mandate (evidence compulsory).

 

Use of Names

The display of the names of the companies of registrants and of attending delegates in public and internal lists in various sections of www.raucon.com is a requirement for the conference process. If a formal permit on the side of the registrant's company is required, the registrant will undertake to procure the same prior to registration.

 

Hotel Accommodation

RauCon has reserved a block of rooms at the Hotel Cascais Miragem (the conference hotel) which attendees may book at discounted group rates until 15 February 2021:

€190,00 for single occupancy room
€210,00 for double occupancy room

incl. breakfast buffet and VAT. City tax of currently € 1.00 per night per person will be added.

Booking or cancellation of a hotel room is a transaction between the registrant and the conference hotel without any liability of RauCon. RauCon provides a hotel room booking form exclusively for registrants to download after log-in. Rooms are subject to availability. For room cancellation conditions please refer to the hotel's booking confirmation.

If credit card details are not provided as guarantee, the hotel may ask for a deposit.

Force Majeure Clause

RauCon reserves the right to cancel, or hold entirely in remote access video format, the complete conference in case of Force Majeure including, but not limited to, acts of God, war, terrorist attack, epidemic, disaster, strike, civil disorder, curtailment of transportation facilities, or emergency government order which would make it illegal, extraordinarily hazardous, or impossible to provide the facilities, travel to the conference, or hold the conference. In case of Force Majeure RauCon will not owe any indemnification to registrants.
